My contact lens / eye-safe after treatment with acetone?
I got out of chemistry lab and the lab did not have goggles to our first day. We washed all the lab equipment with acetone, water and soap. What is the possibility of acetone is evaporating before my eyes. I clean my contact lenses and let it soak for 30 minutes in contact with the solution, and now I'm wearing again. My eyes Feel Fine. Is there any possibility that exposure is a drop of acetone contact lenses without the glasses could be a problem? I'm scared irration may appear later in the day.
I think you need to fine - - All the irritation of some of acetone is likely to happen soon. It is horrible to your school is not a mask Models for you! You should refuse to participate, if you're protected. Legally you are right.
